A man who sexually assaulted a young woman by touching her plumber's crack while on a bus was caught at the police station as the woman happened to be there reporting the case. The incident took place on a crowded bus around 6 p.m. in the Xindian (新店) district of Taipei in August when the 35-year-old man, named Zhang Wei-Zhe (張偉哲), allegedly used his finger to touch the woman's posterior. The next day, the woman went to the local police station to file a claim and she bumped into the suspect coincidentally. The man happened to be at the police station picking up some other documents. The man has been charged with sexual assault.

Originally published April 1, 2014 The British military has confirmed that in December 2013, a sniper killed six Afghan insurgents with a single shot. The 20 year-old UK sniper was defending a position in southern Afghanistan, when he observed what appeared to be enemy activity near a treeline some 850 meters from his sniper's nest. After positively identifying the targets as enemy combatants, the sniper zeroed in on an individual carrying a machine gun. Unknown to the sniper, the target was wearing a suicide vest, which exploded as he was hit by the bullet. The blast was powerful enough to kill six insurgents, and the sniper was commended for preventing a serious attack on British forces. It has also emerged that the same unnamed sniper shot and killed a Taliban machine gunner at a range of 1,340 meters earlier in 2013.

CINCINNATI, OHIO — A brave civilian helped a Cincinnati cop who called for help subdue a suspect who was going for his gun, possibly helping prevent another tragic police shooting. The incident happened on July 30, the same day former University of Cincinnati police officer Ray Tensing was charged with the July 19 shooting death of Sam Dubose in a separate traffic stop. The civilian, identified as Edward Williams, was driving with his ex-girlfriend and her daughter when he saw the cop struggling with the unyielding suspect. William's ex-girlfriend tried to talk him out of helping because she was afraid he would get hurt. But Williams handed her his tablet PC so she could continue recording while he got out of his car and went to help. The cop asked Williams to hand him his handcuffs, while the suspect called out to Williams, saying that the cop had tried to choke him to death. The cop warned that the suspect was trying to reach for his gun. Backup later arrived and the suspect was escorted to a police car. The suspect thanked Williams, while the cops told him to remain silent. No details about the arrest are currently available. However, it's clear from the video that Williams may have saved two lives that day.

RAQQA — An ISIS boss who taught jihadis how to decapitate people got his just desserts when he lost his own head to a British SAS sniper's rifle. The marksman with the British Army's Special Air Service Regiment shot the ISIS executioner in the back of the head as he showed recruits at a training camp in northern Syria how to decapitate prisoners, according to the Daily Star Sunday. The sniper was one of 20 SAS soldiers who sneaked into a terrorist-held area two weeks ago, an unnamed British military source told the Daily Star Sunday. Intelligence reported that the area could not be bombed in an air strike because it was in a small village, close to a school, and the risk of collateral damage was too high. The sniper got into position and waited almost 12 hours. The target: a jihadi training camp 1,200 meters away. The SAS team waited until the ISIS commander began showing recruits how to cut prisoners' heads off, according to the Daily Star Sunday. The sniper got the all-clear to fire as the ISIS chief demonstrated cutting motions with knives, axes and a sword. Using a high-powered Dan .338 rifle and aiming more than a foot off to allow for the wind, the marksman took out the ISIS boss with one shot, the Daily Star Sunday reported, citing the military source. The commander was reportedly easy to spot because he wore white robes, which is unusual for ISIS fighters. Most of the 20 ISIS recruits deserted the camp following the SAS operation, according to the military source quoted by the Daily Star Sunday. "We got rid of 21 terrorists with one bullet," the source said, according to the Daily Star Sunday.
